Monday during homeroom we will have Sophomore Elections- please report to the auditorium during homeroom and on Thursday homeroom we will have Junior Elections Spirit Week for Seniors is coming up! Friday the 20th- Destination Merch day- Monday the 23rd will be Senior Citizen day, Tuesday- Toga, Roman God and Goddess Day, Wednesday- Anything but a backpack Thursday- Dress to Impress and Friday will be Class Color Day and Picnic ANY SENIOR who has not paid for the BUS or turned in LIMO sheets must do so asap also, TABLE CAPTAINS please turn in your sheets asap- please make sure the guest passes are attached Seniors and Staff- please vote for your PROM COURT - Junior Class- Fundraiser at SEAPORT on May 20th - Dress up! have fun! support the class Freshmen and Sophomore get your class dues in! please give them to your advisors asap- Any student interested in working at Audrey's flower shop please apply in person they are looking for students to work over the summer and starting now-- seniors- there are a few more sweatshirts- but first come first serve- only xl cost is $35 |

Today is the NHS hours are due by 2pm.. NHS seniors you must turn in your sheets to Ms. Menery by 2pm... thank you! there will be an all NHS meeting after homeroom check in on Thursday- for new officer elections- this is for all NHS Student Council- are you interested in running for Student Council for next year? We will be having elections in May during homeroom- please stop by to get a Student Council packet- there are due May 10th by 2pm thank you Prom Tickets- Prom tickets will be on sale during lunches until May 6th - please plan accordingly! again, that is a week from this Friday Senior Banquet- In order to attend the Senior Banquet on Thursday evening you must be in school for the entire day - start time is 6pm. Table Captains do not forget about your centerpiece |

News from the Health Center.... Please check out the new Racial Equity Project on the wall next to the Health Center - Room 1214. Stop by to learn about the many contributions made by people of color. Thank you Camilla Wilkens-Bowens for your new project! Please place your Free Food Locker online orders by Thursday to receive free groceries prior to vacation. Check your emails for the FFL order link and this week's shopping list sent today. OR, you can always stop into the Health Center to shop the Free Food Locker in person. Mrs. Goulart has suits, dresses, and prom gowns for anyone who would like something for any of the upcoming events like awards night, senior parent banquet, prom, or dress-up days for your sports teams. Please come see her in room 2217 or email her at rogoulart@gloucesterschools.com to shop in her school-based store. From Guidance: Juniors- If you plan to participate in the Credit for Life fair, permission slips are due to Ms. Cullen this week. Friday 4/15 is the deadline - no exceptions- |

senior banquet- questions- how do we dress- attire is what you wear to a wedding- semi formal- what do we do? dance, socialize and bond with class- when are tickets on sale until : March 28th tickets are $40 per person- who goes? seniors and your parents or guardians- senior sweatshirts- please check off your name- as many seniors have not do so - cash only - on sale during lunches $35 Ukrainian relief fund- there is a collection box in the school store- it is adding up- please remember every dollar helps! NHS and Student Council seniors- Blood drive is Friday- please remember to keep your same shifts as last bloodrive- anyone who wants to donate - we still have some afternoon spots available NHS- new invited students will be hearing if you have been accepted soon- please note the inductions are mandatory and the practices- which will be next week- Please keep an eye out for the practice times- but on March 28th you must be at GHS at 5:30 pm Tomorrow's theme for the HOCKEY GAME- WHITE SHIRTS!! Blood Drive- Did you know that only 38% of Americans are eligible to donate.. only 5% of them actually do- Did you know that one of every 10 persons admitted to the hospital needs blood-one donation can sustain up to 3 lives- more than 1 million new people are diagnosed with cancer each year- and many of them will need blood- Every 2 seconds someone in the US needs blood- if you would like to donate blood please see Ms Menery in room 1213 or Bailey Saputo- permissions slips are now available NHS tutoring available this week- NHS students please note when the Induction Rehearsals are- NHS MEMBERS are available to tutor so please see your guidance councilor if you are in need of a tutor door decorating contest is on for March- congrats to Ms Gullet for February SENIOR PARENT BANQUET TICKETS- will be on sale starting on Wednesday- The cost of the tickets are $40 per person - THE Senior Banquet will be held at the Cruiseport on April 28th 5;30- 930pm- Checks made out to Gloucester Public Schools- Your dues must be paid in full to pay for your tickets as well- IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE A TABLE CAPTAIN please pick up a table captain sheet asap thank you!!!!!!!! tickets will be on sale until March 25th Friday |

BLOOD DRIVE- we have a blood drive coming up on march 18th- if anyone would like to sign up for a spot email Baily Saputo or Miss Menery- anyone can donate blood 16 and up- stop by room 1213 to get a permission slip- we are at an urgent need for blood at this time NHS tutors- As NHS members are nearing the deadline for community service- PLEASE reach out to your guidance counselor if you are in need of a tutor- Zoom meets are available as well March Door decorating contest is on- please help decorate your homeroom door! Winter track and field student athletes, you have the rest of this week to get your raffle tickets in for our calendar fundraiser. Please bring your envelopes and money to Mrs. Goulart in room 2217. News from the Health Center..... All GHS students are eligible to shop for free groceries to take home from the The Free Food Locker, which is open every school day in the GHS Health Center. Students can also order online and groceries can be picked up in the Health Center OR delivered to your home. Please stop by the Health Center- Room 1214 if you have any questions! On Thursday after school the GHS Youth Advisory Council will meet after school in the Health Center. All GHS students are eligible and new members are very welcome. NHS and student council there will be an all homeroom on WEDNESDAY in the cafeteria NHS please email your guidance counselor if you are in need to find a someone to tutor Valentine's day- The Junior Class will be selling Candy grams during lunches- the candy will be delivered on Monday Feb 14th- the grams are $3 small and $5 for a large- send your favorite teacher- your best friend- your sweetie a valentine gram- GHS THINKS PURPLE- On Friday GHS will be wearing Purple to show support for a former GHS student who needs our support- Please buy a purple ribbon in room 3215 or in the school store- the ribbons are $1- there is also collection in the school store if you want to donate your spare change- This former Docksider student is fighting Hodgkins Lymphoma and needs our help |
