From Athletics – Thanksgiving Day Football is here! Gloucester hosts Danvers for a 10:00 AM game on Thanksgiving Day. All tickets, student, adult and senior citizens are $10.00 and sales begin 1 hour prior to game time. See you at the game and go Fishermen!

Ski Club Announcement – Attention all Snowboarders and Ski People! Ski Club registration must be completed by today (Wednesday, November 22nd)! You can register directly online and pay by credit card, or fill out a registration form and pay by check. Either way, please see Mrs. Lowthers in Room 3411 A.S.A.P. to register.

Health Center -  Planning to play a winter sport? If you are in need of a sports physical please stop by the health center to make an appointment.

 

From DECA – DECA is selling beautiful wreaths from Wolf Hill for $14.00. Please see a DECA student or contact Ms. Grassetti if you are interested.

 

From the Library – Please note that after Thanksgiving Break, the library commons will be closed after school on Monday, November 27th, Tuesday, Nov. 28th, and Wed. Nov. 29th. Apologies for the inconvenience and NHS tutoring will be held in the cafeteria on these days.

From Mrs. Gallo and Mr. Basile – Interested in going to Italy? The trip will be during April vacation 2019. There will be an informational meeting for parents and students on Monday, November 27th at 7:00 PM in Room 1217.

From Theatre Arts – The Fall One Act Play, Nora’s Lost is this weekend. Performances are tonight at 7:00 PM and Sat. Nov. 18th at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Tickets are only $5.00 for students and staff.

Boys Basketball – There will be a brief meeting after school today in Room 1203 for all students trying out for any level of boy’s basketball.

Chrome Books IT Department – If you have a chrome book but have not paid insurance or if you are supposed to have a new chrome book this year and have not yet picked it up you have until the end of the school day tomorrow (Thursday) to do so. A bill for insurance will be sent to students who have not paid by tomorrow (Thursday). This information has also been sent to the affected students in a Gloucester Schools email. The IT office is located within the library and will be open after school.

GHS Varsity Wrestling – Wrestling meeting today right after school in the atrium.

Boys Ice HockeyBoys interested in the boys ice hockey team there is a meeting in the cafeteria on Monday, November 20th at 6:00 PM. Players and parents should attend.

Boys Basketball – There will be a brief meeting after school tomorrow in Room 1203 for all students trying out for any level of boys basketball.

 

French Club – French Club social today after school in Room 1211. If you are interested in joining French Club, come on down and learn more about it while eating delicious French food!

Food Drive – We need your help for the Food Drive – please bring your items to the library.

News from the Health Center! Do you have an idea for the Youth Advisory Council to work on? The next Youth Advisory Council meeting will be today at 2:10 PM in the Health Center to start a new project. We will have a snack then move onto discussion about ideas while working on the project. All are welcome. Hope to see you there!

From Sawyer Free Library – Donate your used jewelry, handbags and scarves to help support the Sawyer Free Library’s Bling Fling event. All proceeds support the library and all donations can be dropped off at the library until December 6th. Thank you.
