Athletic Dept. – Attention all students interested in playing Spring Sports! You have the rest of today to register on FamilyID.com. You must register online even if you registered for Fall or Winter sports already this year. In order to practice on Monday, March 20th you need to do these three things: 1. Register on FamilyID.com. together with a parent/guardian. 2. Provide proof that you have had a physical exam within the last 13 months. 3. Pay the Spring 2017 User Fee, as well as any unpaid User Fees from previous seasons. Thank you and Go Fishermen!
GHS Softball Tryouts – Softball tryouts will begin next Monday at 3:30 PM in the fieldhouse. All girls trying out will report to the cafeteria at 3:00 PM. You will not be eligible to tryout if you did not register online, have an updated physical, and concussion form completed.
Boys Basketball Banquet – The boy’s basketball banquet is being rescheduled for next Tuesday, March 21st at 6:30 PM. It will be in the GHS cafeteria. Make sure you bring your uniform with you to turn in, otherwise you’ll get an obligation.
Class of 2019 – Tickets to the Sophomore Event will be sold at both lunches until Monday, March 20th. Tickets are $35.00 each. Please clear up your class dues and get ready to dance the night away!
Class of 2020 – Want to win a ton of chocolate? Just guess how much is in the shamrock jar at lunch only $1.00 per guess. May the luck of the Irish be with you!

The Nancy Hochberg Higgins Memorial Scholarship sponsored by the Arthur N. Ryan Scholarship Fund has been increased to $2,500. And now reads: In addition, the recipient of the $2,500 Nancy Hochberg Higgins Memorial Scholarship should be a candidate who will pursue a career in education (with special consideration for a person focused on the arts) Please see page 79 in the scholarship bulletin for further info.
