Athletics Spring sports season tryouts will be here in a couple of weeks, make sure your medical forms are up to date and in the athletic office for spring sport tryouts.

NHS – All students who received an NHS letter please report to Room 2217 after school today to receive your application.

Intramural VolleyballCheck the website at ghsintramuralvolleyball.blogspot.com or read the wall in the Social Studies Hall for recaps. Games have been going great and people come to play. Check the schedule on the wall or website and be prepared for your game times.

Interact – Do you like Trivia? Form a team of 4 people and compete in the Interact Trivia Night, money raised will go to charities. Sign-up sheets in Room 2217.

From Gloucester U – Big Tobacco spends almost $170 million each year to market their deadly products to people in Massachusetts! That’s for things like ads in magazines, sponsoring events, free giveaways, and signs in your corner stores.

Scholarship Bulletin – The Gloucester High School Scholarship Bulletin is now on www.gloucesterschools.com. Please click on Our Schools, Gloucester High School and Documents. Unless otherwise indicated, all scholarships must be in the Main Office by 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 1st, 2015. Scholarships that are to be mailed must be postmarked no later than Monday, March 30th, 2015.

From Guidance – The Institution for Savings is sponsoring a $15,000 scholarship to a graduating senior. To qualify for this scholarship, the senior must be ranked in the top 50 of the Class. The recipient will demonstrate traits consistent with the Bank’s vision: having a positive effect on other people in his/her community through leadership, volunteerism, innovation, service, and academic achievement. Completed applications, transcripts and essays must be submitted to the Guidance Office by April 1st. See your guidance counselor for details.
