The Gloucester Youth Council – is hosting a free dodge ball tournament today from 3:00 – 5:00 PM. You can sign up as teams of 10 or you can sign up individually and you will be put on a team. There will be prizes and free t-shirts. Teachers and staff are invited to participate as well. To find out more or sign up, please see the bulletin board outside Amy Kamm’s office, Room 1208.

 

Student Obligations – New student obligations are posted in the principals office windows, they must be cleared, A.S.A.P.

 

National Honor Society (NHS) Mother’s Day is just around the corner! Don’t know what to do for your mother? How about tea and cookies? NHS is having a Mother’s Day Tea Party on Saturday, May 10th from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the Magnolia Library. Tickets are $8.00, one ticket for you and your mom. Tickets are on sale in the ticket booth during lunches. Let’s celebrate our mom’s together!

 

The Rockport Music Scholarship is available. Applications are in the main office; this scholarship offers $1,000 to a student who has been accepted with plans to attend an accredited college, university or conservatory with a major or minor course of study to include music.

The Pieter Smit Memorial Scholarship is also available. Applications are in the main office; this scholarship offers $3000 per year for four years to any accredited institution of higher education.
