Graduation Rehearsal – There will be a mandatory graduation rehearsal for all seniors on Tuesday, May 10th, during B-Block. Seniors should report to their first block and they will be called to the auditorium.

Music at GHS – Do you play a musical instrument? Do you sing? If you are interested in participating in band or chorus next year, please see Mr. Staluppi, any day, after school in the music room.
Class of 2017 – Junior Event tickets are on sale this week only at both lunches and after school. Tickets are $40.00 per person.
From Guidance – Any student planning to attend North Shore Community College in the fall may be eligible for a scholarship from Gorton’s. Please see your guidance counselor for an application.
Also From Guidance – This message is for seniors, The Gloucester Bio- Technology Academy is offering students the opportunity to train and work in the Biotech field. Interested students should see their guidance counselor for more details.
Community Service - Friday, May 13th Empty Bowl is at the Open Door looking for volunteers.
Student Council – Elections will be held May 16th. Election sheets and speeches are due May 15th.
Moose/GHS Youth Awareness From Mr. Riley – To the Class of 2017, applications for the 2016-2017 Moose/GHS Youth Awareness Scholarship Program are now available in the guidance office. A GPA of 85% or better is needed to be considered. Literature explaining the program accompanies the application. Completed applications must be submitted to Ms. Carlson no later than Friday, May 20th, 2016.
Girls Ice Hockey Team – Students interested in being on a girls ice hockey team for school year 2016-2017 please come to the principal’s office for a form to sign up.
Boys Varsity Lacrosse – Plant sale this Saturday May 7th at St. Peter’s Square from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, come out and buy plants to support the boys varsity lacrosse team.
Student Obligations – New student obligations are posted in the principal’s office windows, they must be cleared, A.S.A.P.
