       Day 1


Athletics – Congratulations to the GHS Cheering Squad for winning the COA Ultimate Nationals in Florida! This team has represented GHS at the highest level in the sport of Cheerleading at conference, state, regional and national events. Mayor Sefatia Romeo-Theken will honor the team with a proclamation on Tuesday in front of the City Council. All are welcome to attend in support of the team! Again that is tomorrow, Tuesday, April 25th at 7:00 PM at City Hall.

NHS – There will be an all NHS (new & old) NHS members after school in the cafeteria tomorrow (Tuesday)

New Scholarship – The Stone Family Scholarship for $1,000 is available for a senior with the expressed intent to study in the field of science, technology, engineering or mathematics. Additional information is available in the main office.

GuidanceSeniors - The Kay Ellis Memorial Scholarship for students interested in majoring in Tourism & Hospitality is available in the guidance office. Deadline is May 1st.

Guidance – Seniors – Applications for the Abbott Scholarship are available in the guidance office. Deadline for the application is May 1st.

GuidanceSeniors The Raymond R. Anderton Scholarship is available in the guidance office. Deadline is Friday, May 19th.

Student Obligations – New student obligations are posted in the principal’s office windows, please clear them A.S.A.P.
