GHS Sailing Team – Congratulations to the GHS Sailing Team for finishing in 1st place and undefeated for the 2016 season.

Flicker – If you have not purchased a yearbook you will not be invited to the Distribution Party. The date of the Distribution Party has changed to Thursday, May 26th at 1:00 PM.

YMCA Clean Team- Cape Ann YMCA is hiring students for the 2016 summer Clean Team crew. More info and applications are in the principals’ office if you’re interested.

From Administration – Please be aware that students should not be using the elevator without a pass.

Docksiders – The Docksiders invite you to attend Swing Night at City Hall, this Saturday, May 21st at 7:00 PM. Come enjoy a fun night filled with dancing, live music and refreshments! Admission is free!

Music at GHS – Do you play a musical instrument? Do you sing? If you are interested in participating in band or chorus next year, please see Mr. Staluppi, any day, after school in the music room.

Moose/GHS Youth Awareness From Mr. Riley – To the Class of 2017, applications for the 2016-2017 Moose/GHS Youth Awareness Scholarship Program are now available in the guidance office. A GPA of 85% or better is needed to be considered. Literature explaining the program accompanies the application. Completed applications must be submitted to Ms. Carlson no later than Friday, May 20th, 2016.

Girls Ice Hockey Team – Students interested in being on a girls ice hockey team for school year 2016-2017 please come to the principal’s office for a form to sign up.


Guidance – Gloucester High School will be holding the 2nd annual Career and College Fair on Thursday, May 19th from 6:15 – 8:00 PM in the field house. 70 colleges and university admission counselors and 50 businesses will be here to give information about careers, majors and program offering. All students are invited to this event.

Student Obligations – New student obligations are posted in the principal’s office windows, they must be cleared, A.S.A.P.
