From the Library – The library will close at the end of school on Friday. It will not be open to 4:00 PM as usual. Today the library will stay open until 5:00 PM if needed.

MCAS Science tutoring resumes today from 2:15 to 4:15 in Room 2407 and continues every Thursday after school,  until May 30th.

NHS - National Honor Society tutors will be available in the library after school today for students who want to drop in for help.


The Junior Achievement Business Management Class is selling water bottles. The water bottles are plastic and come in lime green, blue, and purple. The water bottles are only $10.00 and are available through Business Management students or in Room 3308. Proceeds will pay for a Business Management Scholarship this spring. Get yours today!   “Water you waiting for?”


Senior Class – Senior Sweatshirts – The senior class is now taking orders at the snack shop for senior sweatshirts. The sweatshirts will be grey and will include a maroon GHS Class of 2013 logo on the front, and the names of every member of the senior class on the back, also in maroon. Cost is $30.00 for small to extra large sizes, $31.00 for double XL sizes and $32.00 for triple XL sizes. If you are paying with a check, please make it payable to the GHS Class of 2013. Cash is also accepted. Orders must be received by Friday, April 26th.


GSA- On Friday, April 12th, some GHS students are leading an initiative called, “The Day of Silence” , this is a student led effort towards creating safer schools and bringing attention to anti LGBT name calling, bullying and harassment at Gloucester High. If you are interested in participating, please come by Amy Kamm’s office in Room 1208 to sign up and get materials.


From Guidance – Juniors – permission slips for the Boston College Fair on Tuesday, April 30th are available in the guidance office, they must be signed and returned to the guidance office by 2:00 PM, Friday, April 26th.
