Reminder - MCAS Science Tutoring continues today after school from 2:15 to 4:15 in Room 2407 then continues every Thursday afternoon until May 30th.

Talent Show – Come and support our fellow GHS students as they showcase their talents, tonight, doors open at 6:30 PM, $5.00 per ticket, with plenty of choices at the concession stand. Reminder, all performers and all 2014 student council members must arrive at 5:00 PM.
From DECA – Do you want to see Mr. Anderson, Ms. Saunders, Mr. Ciaramitaro, Mr. Cook, or Mr. Perreault get a pie in the face? Help us raise at least $100.00 toward our DECA National Competition and get to attend an assembly the Wednesday before vacation to see it happen! This will be worth seeing so help fill the jugs during lunch.
Sophomores - Spring Fling tickets will be on sale next week, tickets are $20.00 but you must have your Freshmen and Sophomore dues paid to attend, please see Ms. Finacey. Spring Fling is around the corner, Friday, May 10th.
GSA- On Friday, April 12th, some GHS students are leading an initiative called, “The Day of Silence” , this is a student led effort towards creating safer schools and bringing attention to anti LGBT name calling, bullying and harassment at Gloucester High. If you are interested in participating, please come by Amy Kamm’s office in Room 1208 to sign up and get materials.
From Guidance – Juniors – permission slips for the Boston College Fair on Tuesday, April 30th are available in the guidance office, they must be signed and returned to the guidance office by 2:00 PM, Friday, April 26th.
Also from Guidance – Applications for the Raymond Anderton Scholarship & the Almon B. Cook Scholarship are still available in the guidance office.
Scholarships – There are two new scholarships available in the principal’s office, the Fishtown Horribles Parade Scholarship and the Paul & Dottie Souza Memorial Scholarship.
