eSports:   The first eSports meeting is today, Thursday, January 30th in Room 3312.  Please bring your signed permission slips. Copies of parental permission slips are in the Main Office.



GHS Wrestling:  Come out and cheer on GHS Wrestling Team this Saturday, February 1st!  We are hosting the Northeast Conference Cape Ann League Tournament in the Fieldhouse starting at 10am


GHS Intramural Volleyball:  Who will be crowned champion in 2020? Do not hesitate any longer.  Get a signup sheet from Mr. P. Cook in Room 2216 or print one out from ghsintramuralvolleyball.blogspot.com . Deadline to signup is Thursday, February 13th.  Games begin Monday, February 24th.


Scholarship Bulletin:  The Gloucester High School Scholarship Bulletin 2020 is on the Gloucester High School page of the www.gloucesterschools.com  website under GHS Important Documents.  Each scholarship requires a separate letter of application and a separate financial statement form.  A copy of the financial statement form can be found at the end of this bulletin; additional forms are available in the Main Office.  Unless otherwise indicated, all scholarships must be in the Main Office by 10am on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. Scholarships that are to be mailed must be postmarked no later than Monday, March 30, 2020.


Sophomore Class:  Mark your calendars!!  March 20th at The Gloucester House starting at 6 pm, we will be hosting the Sophomore Spring Fling Formal Dance event.  Spring Fling Tickets are on sale in Room 1213 during lunches.  Cost - $27 - Class Dues must be paid.


CATA Bus Passes:  Will be sold today and tomorrow in the Atrium during lunches until 4pm.


GHS Class of 2021:  We will be selling Jr. Event Tickets during lunch from now until February vacation.  Tickets are $60 each. You may pay by cash or check made payable to: Gloucester Public Schools.


Books and Supplies for Mexico:  Help students in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico get access to school supplies by donating.  Anything from pencils, erasers, markers, crayons and/or donations of money will be greatly appreciated.  Please bring donations to the library, Mr. Basile’s room (1217) or to Olivia Hogan-Lopez.


Spain Trip 2021:  There is still room for those who are interested in traveling with us during April vacation 2021.  See Mr. Basile for more information.


Guidance:  Seniors - Applications for the Almon B. Cook Scholarship are available in the Guidance Office.  Applications must be submitted on or before April 1, 2020.
