Gymnastics – There will be a gymnastics season informational meeting on Monday, November 12th at 7:30 PM at Iron Rail Gymnastics Academy (91 Grapevine Road, Wenham) Any interested athletes should attend this meeting.

Girls Basketball – Any girl wishing to tryout for girl’s basketball should come to our preseason meeting today in the cafeteria at 5:00 PM. This is a meeting for all levels, freshmen, jv, and varsity.

Gloucester Varsity CheerleadersThe Gloucester Varsity Cheerleaders will be hosting their first annual Powder Puff Football Game on Monday, November 12th, 2012. Each team cost $150.00, teams of 15, $10.00 per player of junior girls vs senior girls. Forms can be picked up in the main office, along with concussion forms attached. Please turn in forms by November 9th to a varsity cheerleader.

Softball – Stay ahead of competition in the NEC GHS softball clinics, start this Sunday in the field house at 9:45 AM.


NHS & Interact – Students who volunteered to help with the counting of ballots after the election next Tuesday, November 6th, have been assigned to specific polling locations. All students who volunteered should see Mrs. Saunders in the library or Interact officers to confirm their assignment.


Class of 2012 – Baby pictures are due for the yearbook by Friday, November 9th, please give to Mrs. Eastman in Room 3303 or Ms Hickey in Room 3204. Create a collage’ for the yearbook with your friends, pictures from grade school to present, capture your special events and share with the class! See Hannah Sumner, submit soon.

Student Council – There will be an all student council meeting in Room 1213 next Monday at 2:08, all classes must attend.

Teen Leadership Council (TLC) formerly known as SADD will meet on Wednesdays lunch time to discuss peer education and other priorities for the year. Any interested student is welcome to attend. First meeting, November 7th.

Senior Class – Attention Seniors – Semi tickets go on sale all this week, during both lunches and after school in the ticket booth. In order to buy your tickets you must pay your class dues to the senior class as well as your obligations and your dates obligations must also be paid up in the principal’s office.


NHS/Student Council – Thanksgiving Food Drive – Help us reach our goal of 1500 items for the Open Door – please drop off any nonperishable items in the library – we will be doing this good drive until Thanksgiving.
