  Day 1

From DECA – Tomorrow (Friday) during both lunches the DECA store will be having it’s grand re-opening. Come by and grab a hot cup of cider for only a dollar. Be Epic!

NHS & Student Council – This Sunday is our 1st annual clean-up day – be at the atrium at 9:00 AM. Please wear your think pink shirts! All is welcomed. Bring your gloves, rakes and shovels.

NHS & Student Council – Tomorrow (Friday), E Block we will be taking our annual Think Pink photo, there are still a few XL shirts left. Thank you for those of you who purchased a shirt to help bring awareness to breast cancer.

From Mr. Basile – Mr. Basile is organizing a trip to Spain and Portugal in the spring of 2017. There will be an informational meeting Wed. October 21st at 6:30 PM in Room 1217. Please attend with a parent if interested in going.

From Guidance – Seniors – Colleges visiting GHS in the guidance office, sign up in Naviance and see Ms. Mondello for a pass.

Year Book – Seniors, if you want your baby picture in the yearbook, pass in your picture, no bigger than 4 x 6, with your first and last name printed on the back. Natalie Franke-Otton and Erica Lane will be collecting photos until tomorrow (Friday). There will also be an envelope at the school store to drop them off.

Flicker – Please see Tiki or Cindy to fill out a memory or a quote which appear under your senior photo in the yearbook.

 

 

Gay/Straight Alliance – Sunday was National Coming Out Day. Gloucester High GSA honors all who have come out as LGBT or as a straight ally for equality-that takes bravery – we honor and thank you! We are also here for those not yet ready.

 

From Gloucester U Please join us for our next Gloucester U “Tuesday Talk” and free pizza on Tues. Oct. 20th at 2:15 in the high school library. Carrie Stack, Founder of the SayYes Institute in Salem, on professionalism in college/job interviews, college essays, job networking, and life’s socially challenging situations. All students, parents, staff and teacher are invited!

GHS Girls Soccer– The GHS girls soccer team will be hosting a bowling fundraiser this Sun. Oct. 18th from 2- 4:00 PM at Cape Ann Lanes. To join a team see Ms. Walsh or Leora Ulrich in the Nurses office.
