Day 3


Guidance:   Attention Seniors! Representatives from the following colleges will be in the Guidance Conference Room.  Sign up on Naviance. You may get a pass from Mrs. Mondello.

9/30 - University of Maine - 7 am

            University of Hartford - 8 am

            University of New England - 9 am

            University of Rhode Island - 10 am

            Johnson & Wales (Providence RI) - 12 pm


PSAT:  GHS will be holding PSAT’s on Wednesday, 10/16.  There is no cost for this test. To register for the test go to the guidance website and click on Announcements.  Fill out the form then come down to Guidance for a PSAT booklet.


Sophomore Class:  The Sophomore Class will be selling Yankee Candles during the months of September and October.  Please see a member of student council if you would like to buy anything or help sell. Class T-shirts are on sale for $10 - see Ms. Cullin!


NHS:   Starting on Monday 9/30 for the next 4 Mondays there will be Alegbra tutoring in Room 1213. 


GHS Thinks Pink:  October is Breast Cancer Awareness month - please order a long sleeve pink shirt from Ms. Menery or Ms. Finacey in Room 1211.  The shirts are $15. The annual THINK PINK picture will be November 1st.


Yearbooks:  Get the best price by ordering before 10/15 - $70.  The price goes up to $80 after. Go to www.shop.jostem’s.com to order today!!  See Ms. G in Room 3202 if you have any questions.  



Carry Out/Carry In:  Please keep outside clean during lunches - dispose of trash inside - You need to help keep our outside lunch area clean!


Class of 2021:  Please join us on Monday, September 30th at Jalapeno’s! Raffles and fun to be had to support the Junior class!


Sketti with Scola:  October 10th at 5pm. Seniors, buy your tickets during lunch for our spaghetti dinner night.  Tickets are on sale during lunches. $20 with shirt. We need to get your money and shirt sizes ASAP.


Italian Club:  There is Italian tutoring today at 2:07 pm in Room 1213.


Open Door Food Drive:  We will be collecting non perishable items.  Please drop off all items in the library. We will also be collecting for Harvest Baskets.


School Bank:  Cape Ann Savings Bank is open on Days 1, 3, 4, & 5 during both lunches.


  • A retainer was found in the cafeteria around the 1st and 2nd tables on the right.
