Italy Trip – There will be a meeting for all those interested in learning more about the amazing trip to Italy this spring! Bring a friend to the meeting in Ms. Underwood’s Room 3105 tomorrow (Thursday) at 2:15. Also, remind your parents to come Thursday evening at 6:30 PM for more info! Ciao!

Seniors – The Gloucester Police Dept. will be hosting their annual civilian police academy beginning Tuesday, Oct. 15th. The police dept. through Sgt. Gossom has decided to allow seniors over eighteen (seventeen with parents permission) the opportunity to participate in this interactive program. Please see Sgt. Gossom for an application and details. Applications must be in by Monday, Oct. 7th.

Chess Team – Are you interested in playing one of the most respected games in history? Come join the hard hitting, adventurous Gloucester Chess Team. Our club has been defined as a group that sits somewhere between UFC and sipping tea. All levels welcome, even those who have never played. The Gloucester Chess Club will have its first meeting in Mr. Roy’s room 2205 on Wed. Oct. 16th.

GHS Flicker – From September 30th to October 4th, the GHS Yearbook will be sold at both lunches. They are $70.00 dollars each please make checks payable to GHS Flicker.

 

From Guidance – College Reps are visiting Gloucester High School, please sign up with Mrs. Mondello in the guidance office.

From Guidance – GHS will be administering the PSAT Test during the school day on Wednesday, October 16th. Any sophomores or juniors interested may sign up in the guidance office. The cost is $22.00, cash only please.

Student Leaders – Applications for the Prudential Spirit of Community Award and the United States Youth Senate Program are being accepted in the guidance office, please see Ms. Carlson for more information.
