Drama ClubAuditions for the spring musical “Into the Woods” are next week! Interested actors should prepare a one-minute monologue and one minute song acapella. Anyone interested in Tech Crew should sign up in Room 1407.

GHS Docksiders and Chorus – All are invited to attend the annual Holiday Coffee House, in the GHS cafeteria, this Friday at 7:00 PM. The Docksiders and Chorus will also be collecting toys to support the ROTC Toys for Tots Drive to help the ROTC reach their goal of bringing joy to children in need! This Friday also marks the return of Mr. Adams for the dedication of the music room in his honor! See you there!

Class of 2016 – The Class of 2016 will be selling candy cane grams at upcoming lunches. Send one to your favorite teacher, your best friend, that special someone, or yourself for the amazing price of one dollar!

Class of 2016 – Do you want a picture with Santa and his elves? Get your picture taken at lunch on Tuesday, December 15th and Wednesday, December 16th. The pictures will be delivered and/or available for pickup on Monday, December 21st. Only two dollars!

Seniors – Scholarships, the Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund applications are on line. Local Chapter of the American Legion and Elks Scholarships application are available in the guidance office.

Guidance – The admissions department at North Shore Community College will be here tomorrow (Wednesday) to conduct “On the Spot” interviews. Students interested in applying to North Shore should fill out an application and return it to Ms. Mondello or their guidance counselor. Applications are free and available in the guidance office.

Guidance – College reps coming to GHS, sign up in the guidance office.

Blood Drive – On Friday, December 18th there is a Red Cross Blood Drive. If you would like an appointment, please see Ms. Menery or email her for a spot. If you are under 17 you must get a permission slip. Thank you, help us reach our goal to save lives of 60 people to donate!
