Athletics Spring sports season tryouts will begin next Monday, make sure your medical forms are up to date and in the athletic office for spring sport tryouts.

 

Drama Club – Start your weekend on the right note! The GHS Theatre Program is hosting the UMass A Cappella group, The Hexachords this Friday, March 13th at 8:00 PM. Tickets available at lunch on Wednesday and Friday, on line or at the door.

 

Art Club – Snack attack Tuesday is today, and very Tuesday in the atrium. The Art Club will be selling cookies, Gatorade, pretzels, and other snacks. Nothing is more than $1.00, see you in the atrium after school for a snack attack!

 

Interact – Do you like Trivia? Form a team of 4 people and compete in the Interact Trivia Night, money raised will go to charities. Sign-up sheets in Room 2217.

 

From Gloucester U – It’s not just cigarettes that’ll kill you. It’s anything with tobacco! One way that tobacco companies target teens is through products that put the same deadly substance in new forms and flavors. Cigarillos, Chew, Black & Milds – they’re all killers. Don’t be fooled!

 

 

Scholarship Bulletin – The GHS Scholarship Bulletin is now on www.gloucesterschools.com. Please click on Our Schools, Gloucester High School and Documents. Unless otherwise indicated, all scholarships must be in the Main Office by 10:00 AM on Wed. April 1st, 2015. Scholarships that are to be mailed must be postmarked no later than Monday, March 30th, 2015.

 

 

From Guidance – The Institution for Savings is sponsoring a $15,000 scholarship to a graduating senior. To qualify for this scholarship, the senior must be ranked in the top 50 of the Class. The recipient will demonstrate traits consistent with the Bank’s vision; having a positive effect on other people in his/her community through leadership, volunteerism, innovation, service and academic achievement. Completed applications, transcripts and essays must be submitted to the Guidance Office by April 1st. See your guidance counselor for details.
