From Athletics – There will be a mandatory event for athletes on Tuesday, May 22nd, from 7-8 PM in the cafeteria called “Vaping Education for Athletes”. If you are a fall, winter, or spring sport athlete, mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 22nd, 7:00 PM in the cafeteria, thank you.


AP EconomicsStudents that are interested in taking AP Economics please see Ms. Grassetti in Room 3202 to learn more. There are slots available for next year.


Distractology – For the second time, Distractology will be coming to Gloucester High School!  Distractology is a mobile simulator experience, designed to show new drivers exactly how dangerous it is to drive distracted. This opportunity is available to new drivers with their learner’s permit or license. The program is FREE and participants also receive a $15.00 gas card! GHS is proud to be hosting Distractology on Monday, May 21st, through Friday, May 25th. To schedule an appointment, visit Ms. Francis in Room 2217, space is limited so sign up today!


Student Council – Any student who would like to run for Student Council for the 2018-2019 school year must pick up an election packet in Ms. Finacey’s room 1211. Forms are due by May 18th at 2:07 pm.


Guidance – A representative from the Gloucester Biotechnology Academy will he here on Wednesday, May 16th at 10:30 am to talk with seniors about this post graduate opportunity which includes training in the Biotech industry and a paid internship. Students interested in this one year program should see their guidance counselors for more details.
