Drop Off, Pick Up, Student Parking, and Guest Parking

After studying the student parking situation at Gloucester High School during the past two school years, students who drive themselves to school will now be expected to park in the lots across from the front circle of the school. Click here for map. The map shows the designated parking areas for students (excluding the front row of the lot directly across from the center circle which is designated for guests).

Please communicate this information to your child if your child will be driving to school. The Student Resource Officer and Deans of Students will be present to help facilitate parking during the first few days. Students will enter and exit through the front doors of the school.

As stated above guest parking will remain located in the front row of the lot directly across from the front circle of the school.

Parents and others dropping off and picking up students should do so on the canal side of the school. This is extremely important for traffic flow so that parent pick up and drop off takes place away from student parking and buses.

GHS Programa de Estudos

Gloucester High School is a place of innovation and opportunity. Did you know all GHS students have opportunities to use technology to connect, wonder, investigate, construct, express, and reflect? Did you know that we have a bank in our school, or that we offer automotive, cabinet making, and electrical shop courses? Did you know we offer courses in child development, culinary arts, personal finance, marketing, and economics? Did you know we have a state of the art photography lab? Did you know Gloucester High School boasts the MassTec program and teacher of the year?  Did you know we offer courses in which students can earn Endicott College credits in Critical Inquiry, International Issues, Ethics, Environmental Studies, and Hospitality Management?  Did you know we offer ten AP courses? Did you know that the award winning GHS JROTC program develops leadership skills and prepares students for college?
